Caritas signed an agreement with local Policlinic to care people without health coverage. Caritas social services provides sanitation items and medical treatment to poor, distributes medical equipment such as wheelchairs and crutches for the disabled, provides rehabilitation activities for people with special needs. Caritas center is close to the train station, in one of the troubled city suburbs but is active throughout the city.
