IMG 3741 GEORGIA. Ingiri. 2007. Woman cutting wood. Most of these lodgings are not supplied with drinking water, gas and heating. The refugees live in run-down buildings. The collective centers, where most refugees live, have become small islands apart from the rest of society, where people have jealously kept their identity and their set of values.
The local population is indifferent and hostile to the fate of the refugees, who are considered as foreigners with special privileges who have come to steal housing and jobs.
