IMG 3278 GEORGIA. Ingiri. 2007. Refugees drawing water from a well. Most of the dwellings are not connected to drinking water or to gas supply for heating. The collective centers, where most refugees live, have become small islands apart from the rest of society, where people have jealously kept their identity and their set of values.
The local population is indifferent and hostile to the fate of the refugees, who are considered as foreigners with special privileges who have come to steal housing and jobs.
